LDS Church Responds to BYU Professor’s Controversial Remarks about Racism

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has issued a formal statement strongly condemning racism in response to a BYU professor's recent controversial statements to The Washington Post.

In that article, BYU professor Randy Bott reportedly said that the LDS Church's ban against blacks being given the priesthood was a "blessing" to blacks.
